The DiGiCo Quantum 225 is a compact digital mixer with a lot to offer, including 72 input channels, 36 buses, an LR/LCR master bus, and a 12-in/12-out processing matrix. This small-format digital console contains an abundance of useful I/O, including eight analog inputs, eight analog outputs, and four channels of AES digital, along with two sets of MADI ports, and UBMADI. You also get two dedicated DMI slots for even more expansion (an internal X-Waves-Q2 64-channel SoundGrid card comes preinstalled). High-performance signal processing, with DiGiCo’s Mustard Processing channel strips and Spice Rack insert effects, yields studio-quality mixes. Taking command of your mix is as intuitive as it gets, thanks to a 17-inch multi-touch screen, 41 individual TFT LCDs, and 25 touch-sensitive, motorized 100mm faders. And the Quantum 225’s customizable left-side accessory bracket will accommodate every workflow. The DiGiCo DQ-Rack is the easiest way to get audio to and from your SD-Series digital console. Place the DQ-Rack onstage, then run a single Cat 6 cable to your console — that’s it! Not only is this a breeze to set up, but it also eliminates the problematic hum and noise that can plague analog systems. This stage box supplies you with 48 microphone inputs and 24 analog outputs, along with AES/EBU. Dante connectivity enables you to take advantage of your existing infrastructure. What’s more, connection to a DiGiCo console via a DMI-DANTE64@96 module (sold separately) enables you to access all inputs and outputs at both 48kHz and 96kHz. Dual redundant power supplies round out the DQ-Rack’s outstanding features.
